My husband Denny and I have a heart for ministry, especially to serve in small town churches. I myself am in seminary, as a distance learner at Trinity School of Ministry in Ambridge, PA. I was ordained a deacon on March 21, 2020 and ordained as a priest on November 15, 2020 and serve as the Rector of the parish. Denny also is working towards Holy Orders, being called as a Deacon. Our ultimate goal is to serve together in God’s church, helping others live lives where they continually grow closer to Jesus. Unity within the body is something we strive for.
In addition to my work at St. Paul’s I serve as the Priest-in-Charge at St. Stephen’s, Schuylerville and also as the Communications Officer for the Episcopal Diocese of Albany. Denny and I have four children together in our blended family, ages 12-17 and much of our life revolves around them and their numerous extracurricular and school activities. The kids are also excited about us serving at St. Paul’s and I am happy they get to see what a life of ministry looks like. Denny and I both love music and have worked to supplement the traditional hymns with contemporary music on guitar and keyboard. We both love to study the Bible and participate in and/or lead several group studies while maintaining our own personal study. To sum it up, God, the church and our family is our life and we manage to spend quality time together visiting some of our favorite spots, enjoying dinner out, going to hockey games, playing trivia, hiking, fishing or just lounging around watching our favorite shows. Serving together musically and being part of the Walk to Emmaus community is also a favorite activity of ours.
